Visual Poetry: The Sounds of Color

#poetry #creative-writing #synesthesia

Write a sonnet describing music using exclusively visual terminology.

Write a Shakespearean sonnet describing a complex piece of orchestral music. The constraint is that you can only use vocabulary related to visual art and perception (e.g., hue, saturation, texture, perspective, luminance). You must not use words related to sound (e.g., hear, loud, pitch, melody). The poem must adhere strictly to iambic pentameter and the rhyme scheme ABAB CDCD EFEF GG.
