Demand Aggregator
Entity that aggregates and manages the flexibility capabilities of multiple end consumers to present them as a single service in energy markets.
Active Flexibility
Ability of a consumer or asset to modulate their energy consumption or production in a controlled and rapid manner to respond to grid needs.
Dynamic Price Signal
Information on energy prices that varies in real-time or near real-time, sent to consumers to incentivize shifts or reductions in consumption.
Predictive Load Model
Algorithm, often based on machine learning, that anticipates the future energy consumption of a building, site, or set of assets.
Reinforcement Learning (RL)
AI paradigm where an agent learns to make optimal sequential decisions (e.g., when to shed load) by maximizing a cumulative reward over time.
Controlled Load Shedding
